I actually wish they put the bass louder in the mix of their earlier albums and some DVDs. Although on the Fate Of Norns release show, it can be heard quite clearly. One thing's for certain, the look of the bass really fit their viking imagery, with the longhorn ships etc. Such an iconic shape.

Here's a video of two Amon Amarth shows from 2004 where you can clearly listen the ESH Sovereign played by Ted Lündstrom. 4 string model. In 2005 he'd change to a 5 string Stinger bass which he would use for a few years...
